Callum Fordyce, who was born on 23 June 1992 in Scotland, is an accomplished defender chiefly playing as a central defender for Raith Rovers. He's a lanky figure at 6ft (1.83m) and weighs in at 12st 8lb (80kg) donned in the number 5 jersey. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value bobs around the £85.5k mark. His present contract with Raith Rovers has a 16-month tenure before it is due to expire on 31 May 2026.
Back in July 2010, Fordyce first joined Livingston, a Championship club in Scotland, where he made a few noteworthy appearances in league matches over the next few years. Starting from his debut season (2010-2011), he made routine appearances, peaking at 35 appearances by the 2013-2014 as well as the 2014-2015 seasons and netting a total of seven goals.
While still playing for Livingston, Fordyce spent a few months on loan at Clyde, in Scotland's League Two, during the 2012-2013 season. Here he made six appearances before returning to Livingston and picking up from where he left off.
In July 2015, Fordyce transferred from Livingston to Dunfermline Athletic, another Championship club. His tenure at Dunfermline was relatively brief, spanning just two seasons. It was then in July 2017 that he made his move to the League One side, Queen of the South. Here, his stamina was evident, with 14 first team appearances and a netting of three goals.
Two years later, in July 2019, Fordyce was on the move again. This time, he decided to ply his trade with Championship club Airdrieonians. His time at Airdrieonians saw him increase his league appearances to a season high of 33 in the 2023-2024 season, and tally six goals over two seasons.
The journeyman defender would make another move in July 2024. This time he went to Raith Rovers, still in Scotland's Championship, for an undisclosed fee. At Raith Rovers, the current 2024-2025 season has seen him take to the field nine times in league matches. It is worth noting his participation in the League Cup 2024-2025 for Raith Rovers, where he started four games.
