Bruce Anderson, a Scottish striker born on 23rd of September 1998, is currently donning the number 19 jersey for Kilmarnock. A trim figure at 5ft 10in and weighing 12st 1lb, Anderson has kicked about a few teams during his still budding career.
His introduction to the sport was with Elgin City during the 2017 - 2018 season. For a rookie, he made a decent showing with 14 first team appearances and six goals to his name. A decent start, no question about it.
Following season saw him making a transition to Aberdeen. Again, 14 appearances for the first team, but his strike rate dropped with just a couple of goals. Nevertheless, the 2019 - 2020 season didn't see much improvement, as he only netted once in 11 appearances. The following season was dry, no goals despite six appearances. Not a blazing run, one might say.
Switching again, this time to Hamilton Academical for the 2020 - 2021 season. 13 first team appearances and a couple of goals. Not a radical change but enough to get him noticed by Livingston the same year. 28 first team appearances and 11 goals - his most productive season to date. His two following seasons at Livingston, from 2022 - 2024, secularly netted him six and seven goals respectively from a solid number of appearances.
The 2024 - 2025 season saw Anderson moving to Kilmarnock where he has yet to make a splash. Zero first team appearances, his strike boots waiting to impress. He participated in the Scottish Cup and made two appearances in the Europa League Qual. as a substitute. Work in progress, you might say.
