Brooklyn Kabongolo, born 16th October 2002 in France, cutting an impressive figure at 6ft 4in (1.95m) and weighing in at 13st 5lb (85kg), has made a career for himself in the defendable trenches of football as a central defender. Donning the number 23 jersey, his current allegiance is pledged to Livingston, a distinguished team in the Scottish Premiership.
A journeyman in his career, Kabongolo has spent time within a number of English leagues. In 2023, at the age of 21, he stepped up from the Southern Football League's Billericay Town, making a move to Southend United in the National League according to Transfermarkt. This marked the start of his professional career as a footballer and was no small feat for the young player.
However, his time at Southend was short-lived. He transferred in February 2024 to Oxford City, also in the National League. It was from Oxford City that he made his move to Aveley in England's Lower Leagues in October 2024. Whilst at Aveley, he honed his craft and showed promise as a defender, catching the eye of Scottish Premiership scouts.
Kabongolo's transfer to Livingston in the Scottish Premiership came as no real surprise to those who've followed his persevering journey. His transfer in the summer of 2025 allowed him to secure his place not only on Scottish soil, but also in the hearts of the Livingston faithful. Now, he plies his trade on the verdant pitches of Scotland, proving his worth as a professional footballer.
