Brad Lyons, born on the 26th of May 1997 in N. Ireland is currently a 27-year-old football player. He is known for his formidable skills as a central midfielder for Kilmarnock, where he proudly dons the number 8 jersey. Standing tall at 6ft (1.83m) and weighing in at 11st 13lb (76kg), Lyons adds a commanding presence on the field. In addition to his club career, he has also represented the Northern Ireland national team.
Kicking off his professional career in July 2014, Lyons became a notable trainee for Coleraine in the Premiership in N. Ireland. During his debut season of 2014 - 2015, Lyons made 11 first team appearances and netted two goals in league matches. He continued to display steady performance throughout the following seasons, culminating in a total of 82 appearances and 14 goals before he moved on from Coleraine.
In September 2018, Lyons was transferred from Coleraine to Blackburn Rovers in the Championship in England on loan. The stint was made permanent in January 2019 for an undisclosed fee. In the same month, he was transferred on loan to St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership, where he made 15 first team appearances and scored one goal in the 2018 - 2019 season. By June 2019, Lyons returned to Blackburn Rovers after completion of his stint at St Mirren.
More changes followed in January 2021 as Lyons was loaned to Morecambe in the English League Two. However, by July 2021, he part ways with Blackburn Rovers and signed for Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership. Lyons' time at Kilmarnock has been fairly productive, with numerous first team appearances and several goals under his belt. As of the 2024 - 2025 season, he has made 21 appearances.
Apart from his league appearances, Lyons has also participated in several cup and international competitions. The 2024 - 2025 season saw him making appearances in the Scottish League Cup, the Scottish Cup, and the Kilmarnock's Europa League Qualifiers. He also represented Northern Ireland in the Euro Qualifiers 2022 - 2024 and the 2024 - 2025 Nations League.
