Bozo Mikulic, a native of Croatia, was born on the ever-mild January morn of the 29th, 1997, sporting a current age of 28. Embodying a sturdy defender, he pledges his primary skills to his central defensive role in St. Johnstone. Towering at a substantial 6ft 4in (1.94m) and weighing a solid 13st 9lb (87kg), Mikulic dorns the number 2 jersey with a degree of confidence that's seldom witnessed.
Valued at a modest €150,000, now roughly £127,000, his up-to-date market rate was generously offered by Transfermarkt. As it currently stands, there is a matter of five slight months left on his contract with St Johnstone, with expiry looms on the 30th of June, 2025.
Mikulic joined RNK Split in Croatia's Treća HNL in the July of 2014. His debut season 2016-2017 bore witness to his breaking into the first team, with a smart tally of 27 appearances in league matches. Following his stint at RNK Split, he ventured on a loan transfer to NK Imotski, also in the Treća HNL, in February of 2016, only to gallantly return to his parent club, RNK Split in July of the same year.
Transitioning from RNK Split to Sampdoria in Italy's Serie B proved to be an enlightening shift in August 2017, then to Hajduk Split in Croatia’s HNL the next July. Yet, this new haven didn’t stand the test of time as in August 2019, Mikulic found himself loan-transferred to Slaven Belupo in the HNL. Just a year later, in August 2020, he returned to Hajduk Split.
August of 2021 saw Mikulic move again, this time to Messina in Italy's Seconda Divisione Girone B. The changes kept on coming as February 2022 saw him moving on from Messina to join Auda in Latvia's Virslīga for an undisclosed fee. The following two years saw him transfer twice more, first to Partizani Tirana in Albania's Kategoria Superiore in February 2024, then to the home of the heather, St Johnstone in Scotland's Premiership, in October 2024.
Here in the season 2024 - 2025 at St Johnstone, Mikulic has already notched up 12 first team appearances and contributed two valuable goals in league matches. Moreover, he's had the honour of participating in the Scottish Cup 2024 - 2025 for St Johnstone, with one start to his name.
