Bojan Miovski, born on the 24th of June 1999 in Macedonia, currently earns his daily bread by pushing the round thing into the square thing as a forward, primarily as a striker, for Rangers. The lad is no shrimp, standing tall at 6ft 2in (1.89m), and tipping the scales at 12st 12lb (82kg). In a move that may surprise some, they’ve handed him the number 28 jersey. Miovski's duties extend beyond club level, as he also turns out for the North Macedonia national team.
The value of Miovski's fancy footwork has been estimated at £2.1m, according to the digital sporting oracles at Transfermarkt.
In July 2020, our lad packed his bags and headed west from Renova in the Prva Liga giants in Macedonia to MTK Budapest in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I in Hungary. The fee for this move, my dear readers, remains veiled in mystery. During his debut season 2020 - 2021 at MTK Budapest, Miovski strutted his stuff in 26 first team appearances and netted seven goals in league matches. He followed this up in the season 2021 - 2022 with 30 first team appearances and eight goals.
From Eastern Europe to the chilly climes of Scotland, Miovski was prized away by Aberdeen in the Premiership for a handsome sum of about £650k. Our Macedonian marvel made quite the splash at his new home, clocking up 37 first team appearances and 16 fantastic goals in the season 2022 - 2023. He echoed this spectacular form in the following season 2023 - 2024, making 38 first team appearances and again, scoring 16 goals.
Leaving the land of haggis and tartan, Miovski's journey led him to sunnier pastures to Girona in Spain's LaLiga. This little Spanish adventure cost Girona a pretty penny, around £6.8m to be exact. While the language barrier wasn’t a bother, successful outings on the pitch were limited - Miovski managed only two goals in his maiden 17 first team appearances in LaLiga.
In August 2025, Miovski was on the move again, this time swapping sunny Spain for the familiar grey skies of Scotland. His destination? Rangers, in the Premiership, who forked out about £4.2m for his services.
As for his contribution to silverware, Miovski seemed busy. He featured in League Cup 2025 - 2026 for Rangers, scoring a goal in his solitary start. His international duty has seen him participate in World Cup Qualifiers Europe 2024 - 2026 for North Macedonia, scoring two goals in five starts, Euro Qualifiers 2022 - 2024 for North Macedonia with six starts, Nations League 2024 - 2025 for North Macedonia, scoring three goals in six starts, and Europa League 2025 - 2026 for Rangers with two unspectacular appearances from the bench.
