Beni Baningime, born on 9 September 1998, is a midfielder who hails from DR Congo, formerly known as Zaire. Currently 26 years old, he is now plying his trade for Hearts, operating predominantly as a central midfielder. At 5ft 10in (1.78m) and weighing 11st 11lb (75kg), he sports the number 6 jersey on his back.

Although, his stint at Wigan was rather brief with him making only a single first-team appearance in the 2018-2019 season. He subsequently returned to Everton in June 2019 following the completion of his loan spell.
Another loan move awaited Baningime in February 2021, this time to Derby County in the Championship. His stint with the Rams saw him make twice for the first team during the 2020-2021 season. Finally, in July 2021, his time at Everton came to an end when he opted to move to Hearts in the Scottish Premiership for an undisclosed fee.
Baningime has since established himself as a regular fixture in Hearts' midfield, making 24 first team appearances and scoring once in the 2021-2022 season. He further demonstrated his consistency during the 2023-2024 season, where he made 29 first team appearances. During the ongoing 2024-2025 season, Baningime has already made 15 first team appearances in league matches.
Notably, in the Scottish Cup 2024-2025, Baningime was handed two starts for Hearts. He also featured in two starts for Hearts in the Conference League 2024-2025.
