Ben McCrystal, born on 11 March 2006 in Scotland, is a young and promising Scottish forward who, at the ripe age of 19, primarily struts his stuff on the pitch as a left winger for St Johnstone. On his back, you'll spot him wearing the number 43 jersey, as he weaves through defences in the Scottish Premiership.
McCrystal's contract with St Johnstone, however, is reaching its conclusion. As the sands in the hourglass trickle away, his time under St Johnstone's patronage comes to an end on 31 May 2025, barely two months away.
In terms of his stint at McCrystal's former clubs, we need to venture back to July 2021. This was the time when our footballer decided to join St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership. His journey was far from straightforward.
The plot took an uptick in September 2023, as McCrystal temporarily peeled away from St Johnstone to ply his trade on loan at Broomhill, a club that competes in Scotland's Lowland League. It was a stint that lasted less than a season.
By the time July 2024 arrived, McCrystal found himself wrapping up his loan spell at Broomhill and returning to the familiar grounds of St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership. As things stand, the young winger continues to contribute to the goal-scoring exploits of St Johnstone, at least until his contract runs its course.
