Ben Doak, hailing from Scotland, lays claim to the day of his birth as 11th November 2005, making him a sprite of 18 years. As an able forward for Middlesbrough, best suited to the role of a right winger, he stands at 1.76m (5ft 9in) and tips the scales at 65kg (10st 3lb). Associated with the number 50 on his back, indeed, Doak has also donned the Scottish national team's jersey.
Doak embarked on his footballing journey with Celtic in Scotland's Premiership in July 2020 as a bright-eyed trainee. His first taste of professional football came in the 2021-2022 season whilst at Celtic, where he made a couple of fleeting appearances in the first team for league matches.
In March 2022, Doak bridged the divide between Scotland and England, sealing a transfer from Celtic to Liverpool in the English Premier League. The transaction was sealed for a fee nearing £600k. Getting acclimated to his new surroundings, Doak secured two league appearances for Liverpool in his inaugural season (2022 - 2023). The following season (2023 - 2024) saw more of the same, with Doak managing but a single first team appearance in league competition.
August 2024 ushered in another shift in Doak's career. This time, a loan move away from Liverpool, with Middlesbrough in England's Championship being his destination. He has since been quite involved in the current season (2024 - 2025) at Middlesbrough, accruing five first team appearances and even registering his name on the scoresheet in league matches.
Amidst his club commitments, Doak has flown the flag for Scotland in the Nations League 2024 - 2025, making two starts and two appearances as a substitute for his country.
