Ben Doak, born on the 11th of November 2005 in Scotland, is a recognised figure in the realm of football. Standing at 5 feet 9 inches (1.76m) and tipping the scales at 10st 3lb (65kg), Doak predominantly operates from the right-wing flair for Bournemouth. Ever faithful to his Scottish roots, Doak has also been seen donning the national jersey with pride. The revered number 11 is typically reserved for Doak when he steps onto the pitch.
When it comes to estimating a player's potential, Transfermarkt pegged Doak's current market value at around an impressive £12m.
The first recorded brush with the professional side of football for Gannon-Doak came in July 2020, when he joined Celtic in Scotland's Premiership division. This new green-and-white hat allowed our young prodigy to make his debut during the 2021 - 2022 season, where he made two appearances for the first team in league matches.
Fast-forwarding to March 2022, Gannon-Doak found himself transferred to Liverpool in England's Premier League for a figure of roughly £600k. The fixture lists for the seasons 2022 - 2023 and 2023 - 2024 at Liverpool aren't exactly bursting with Doak's name, with only one and two first team appearances recorded respectively.
August 2024 saw Doak transferred once again, albeit on loan, this time to Middlesbrough situated in England's Championship division. A flurry of 24 appearances and three goals adorn his record for the season 2024 - 2025, following which he bid adieu to Middlesbrough, returning to Liverpool on completion of his loan stint in June 2025.
A couple of seasons (2022 - 2023 and 2023 - 2024) back in the company of the Liver Bird results in two and one first team appearances respectively. The transfer winds blew yet again for Doak and come August 2025, he made his way to Bournemouth in a switch estimated at around £25m.
Trading the red of Liverpool for the red and black of Bournemouth seems to have done wonders for Doak. The talent is finally being given more room to blossom - four first team appearances in the 2025 - 2026 season so far. And it's not all club commitments for the 20-year-old - he's also been putting in the hard yards for his country, featuring in Europe's World Cup Qualifiers for 2024 - 2026 where he managed to net a goal during his five starting appearances and single stint as a substitute. He also had the opportunity to grace the League Cup for Bournemouth in the 2025 - 2026 season with a start.
