The loan completed in June 2020, Oxborough returned to his parent club Norwich City in the Championship.
In August 2021, another loan transfer settled Oxborough at Barnet Football Club in the fourth-tier of English football, the League Two. His tenure at Norwich came to an outright end in August 2022, when the goalie made a permanent move to Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership.
