The road to Motherwell has been climbed by way of a number of clubs. We track his steps back to July 2010 when Oxborough became a trainee at Norwich City, a then-Championship outfit in England. Almost a decade later, in August 2019, he found himself temporarily at Wealdstone in England's National League thanks to a loan agreement. By June 2020, the loan spell had ended and he returned to Norwich.
A year forward, in August 2021, another loan beckoned, this time having him ship off to Barnet in League Two. His spell there was short-lived, for by August 2022, Oxborough found himself on a permanent transfer from Norwich City to Motherwell in Scotland's Premiership.
In his inaugural 2024-2025 season at Motherwell, Oxborough successfully mdade 25 first-team appearances in league matches. However, the current 2025-2026 season has not offered him a chance to grace the field so far.
