Ashley Maynard-Brewer, born on the 25th of June 1999, hails from Australia and is currently a well-regarded goalkeeper for Dundee United. Standing at an impressive 6 foot 1 inch (1.87 metres) tall and tipping the scales at 11 stones 13lbs (76 kg), he has also earned the privilege of representing the Australian U23 national team.
Sporting the coveted No.1 jersey, Maynard-Brewer's standing in the footballing world is further solidified by his current market value of around £250k, as recorded by Transfermarkt.
Reflecting on his footballing journey, Maynard-Brewer originally joined Charlton Athletic as a trainee in July 2015, participating in the Championship league matches in England. During the 2022-23 season, he made 14 first team appearances.
The keeper was first loaned out to Dover Athletic in the National League South in January 2020, before returning to Charlton Athletic in June 2020 having accomplished a respectable performance in the lower leagues.
In August 2021, Maynard-Brewer's career took a twist northwards as he was loaned to Ross County, plying his trade in the Scottish Championship. Making a solid impression in his debut season 2021-2022, he clocked up 17 first team appearances.
Post completion of his loan term at Ross County, the Australian returned back to Charlton Athletic in June 2022 to repeat his tally of 14 first team appearances during the season.
Unfulfilled at Charlton, Maynard-Brewer sought new pastures on loan at Gillingham in League Two in July 2022, before re-joining Charlton Athletic once more in November 2022 under undisclosed terms.
In January 2026, the oft-travelled man between the sticks transferred to Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership. In his current season (2025-2026), he has made ten first team appearances so far. Maynard-Brewer's participation in the Scottish Cup 2025-2026 saw him start in two matches, no doubt endearing him further to the Dundee United faithful.
