Born in Ukraine on the 21st of June 1997, Artem Dovbyk now takes centre stage in Roma's front lines at the ripe age of 28. The forward stands tall at 6ft (1.85m) and maintains a sturdy physique weighing at 12st 3lb (78kg). During most of his career, he's known for donning the number 9 jersey and representing Ukraine at a national level.

Dovbyk's journey into professional football took flight with Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, a Ukrainian club in the Persha Liha, where he signed in July 2015. Just shy of three years later, in January 2018, he transferred to FC Midtjylland, a prominent club in the Danish Superliga. His season's tally at Midtjylland read a modest eight appearances across two seasons.
Progressing to September 2019, Dovbyk completed a move to Sonderjyske on loan. He tallied 13 first team appearances and netted two goals in his tenure there.

Dovbyk's prowess soon caught the attention of Spain's Girona, who secured his services in August 2023, for a speculated amount of £6.7m. During his single season at Girona, he made 36 first-team appearances and scored 24 goals.
His trail of success didn't fail to catch the eye of top-tier clubs. Roma brought him to the heart of Italy’s Serie A with an impressive £26m offer in August 2024. At Roma, Dovbyk has since racked 42 appearances and hit the net 14 times.
His international career has seen him participate in the World Cup Qualifiers Europe 2024 - 2026 for Ukraine, boasting two starts and two substitute appearances. The Euro 2024 saw him start thrice, while the Euro Qualifiers 2022 - 2024 saw him net two goals across 10 appearances. Not forgetting the Nations League 2024 - 2025, where he managed one goal, and the Europa League 2025 - 2026 for Roma, where he gained four appearances, three of which were starts.
