Armstrong Oko-Flex, born in Dublin on 2 March 2002 (age 24), came into Celtic’s youth set-up from Arsenal in September 2018. A Republic of Ireland winger, he arrived with a decent academy background and left-sided attacking profile, but his Celtic connection remained an early chapter rather than the main body of his senior career.
He left Celtic for West Ham United in July 2021, with his career then moving through West Ham, Botev Plovdiv and Levski Sofia, as well as a later spell at FC Zurich as he worked towards a more settled senior footing. His most productive league season came at Botev Plovdiv in 2025-26, when he scored six goals in 14 league appearances.
By 2026-27, Oko-Flex was again a regular first-team presence at Levski Sofia. He has made 22 appearances in all competitions for the Bulgarian club that season, scoring six goals, including four in 10 First League matches and two in eight Champions League qualifying appearances.
Oko-Flex’s career has carried him from Arsenal’s academy to Celtic, then into senior football across England, Bulgaria and Switzerland. The Celtic spell was brief, but it remains the starting point of a career that has since become more firmly shaped abroad.
