Amido Baldé was born on the 16th of May 1991, in Guinea-Bissau. Currently aged 33, Baldé primarily plays as a forward, fulfilling the role of a striker for Kukësi. He stands an impressive 6ft 3in (1.93m) tall and weighs 13st 3lb (84kg).
Baldé's football career started in Portugal where he began playing for Sporting CP in Liga Portugal in July 2010. A year later, in July 2011, he was loaned to Cercle Brugge in the Pro League in Belgium. In his debut season (2011-2012) with Cercle Brugge, Baldé put up a decent performance, making 16 first-team appearances and scoring four goals in league matches.
Returning to Portugal in August 2012, Baldé transferred to Vitoria SC where he continued to enhance his reputation with 27 first-team appearances and 9 goals to his name during the 2012-2013 season.
The striker's journey led him to Scottish football in June 2013 when he left Vitoria SC and joined Celtic FC in the Scottish Premiership, for a fee of around £1.5m. While at Celtic, Baldé made a solid contribution, racking up 20 first team appearances and scoring three goals during the 2013-2014 season.
In September 2014, Baldé was loaned out by Celtic to Waasland-Beveren in Belgium where he made 14 first-team appearances and scored one goal during the 2014-2015 season. By January 2015, he was on the move again, this time another loan from Celtic, switching to Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel's Liga Leumit. His stay in Israel was brief, yet he made nine first team appearances for the club that season.
Leaving Celtic in July 2015, Baldé transferred to Metz in the French Ligue 2, making eight first team appearances in the 2015-2016 season before moving on to Benfica de Luanda in the Gira Angola in Angola by January 2016. His globe-trotting career then took him back to Portugal, where he spent time his time between Marítimo and Tondela in the Portuguese Liga 2, spanning the 2016-2017 season.
Lastly, Baldé found himself playing in the Albanian top tier league with Kukësi in the Kategoria Superiore in February 2018. Unfortunately, he did not make any first team appearances in the 2019-2020 season.
In total, throughout his varied career, Baldé has made an impact in Portugal, Belgium, Scotland, Israel, France, Angola, and Albania.
