Allan Campbell was born on 4th July 1997 in Scotland. The 5ft 8in (1.75m) tall midfielder, who weighs approximately 11st 9lb (74kg), is currently, at 27 years of age, plying his trade as a central midfielder for Scottish Premiership side Dundee United. Campbell dons the number 22 jersey for United.
Presently commanding a market value in the region of £1m, as cited by Transfermarkt, Campbell's contract with Dundee United is projected to conclude on 31 May 2025, with just four months left.
Campbell embarked on his professional football journey in July 2009, joining the Scottish Premiership outfit, Motherwell, as a trainee. He made his first-team debut in the 2016-2017 season, making seven appearances while scoring a single goal. Over the following seasons, from 2017 to 2021, Campbell became a noticeable figure in Motherwell's midfield, making a series of appearances and modest contributions in terms of goals.
In July 2021, Campbell made the leap to English football, transferring to Championship side Luton Town for an undisclosed fee. Over two seasons with Luton, Campbell amassed a total of 75 appearances, while managing to find the back of the net on seven occasions. This journey was interspersed with loan spells at Millwall and Charlton Athletic in 2023 and 2024 respectively.
In a recent transfer window, January 2025 to be exact, Campbell returned to his homeland, transferring from Luton Town to Dundee United. In the ongoing 2024 - 2025 season at Dundee United, Campbell has already made two first-team appearances in league matches.
