Adam Legzdins, born on 28 November 1986 in England, currently tends goal for Dundee. Standing 6ft 2in (1.9m) tall and tipping the scales at 14st 2lb (90kg), Legzdins has made a name for himself standing between the posts in the number 13 jersey. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is around £42,500. He is currently in the final half year of his contract with Dundee, set to reach its conclusion on 31 May 2025.
Legzdins joined Birmingham City in England's League One as a trainee in June 2004, where he made a handful of first team appearances over a two-year stint. In August 2005, he transferred on loan to FC Halifax Town in the National League, and he achieved a modest total of 30 first team appearances in league matches over two seasons. Legzdins moved for a few brief loan spells at Macclesfield Town and once again at Halifax Town before transferring to Crewe Alexandra in June 2008. At Crewe Alexander, he made a minor contribution to the team with six first team appearances.
Subsequently, Legzdins transfer away from Crewe Alexandra to Burton Albion in July 2010 resulted in a more active role with 46 first team appearances in his debut season. However, this was short-lived and his presence in the squad declined steeply into his second year at the club. Following a brief loan spell back at Burton Albion and a more stable engagement at Derby County, Legzdins transferred again to Leyton Orient in June 2014 and then to Birmingham City in July 2015, repeating his previous pattern of a noticeable debut season with a steep decline thereafter.
After moving between Burnley and Dundee, Legzdins has made his most recent home in Scotland's Premiership with Dundee. With two seasons under his belt each with 24 first team appearances, Legzdins seems to be a settled part of the club. However, with no appearances in the current 2024-2025 season to date, his future contributions are open to speculation.
