Adam Idah, hailing from the Republic of Ireland and born on 11 February 2001, is a 25-year-old forward who primarily plays as a striker. Currently at Swansea City, Idah impresses with a height of 6ft 2in (1.9m) and a weighing 13st (83kg). He can be seen dominating the pitch while wearing his number 33 jersey. Besides his club appearances, Idah also wears the green of his homeland, as a representative of the Republic of Ireland national team.

Idah's professional journey started in July 2017 when he joined Norwich City in the depths of the Championship. Over his tenure, he made an impressive series of first team appearances which ranged from 12 in his debut season (2019 - 2020) to 28 in the 2023 - 2024 season. Record books indicate that he netted 15 goals for Norwich across multiple seasons during his initial spell at the club.
In February 2024, Idah was borrowed by Celtic in the Scottish Premiership for a stint on loan. This move proved to be fruitful for both the player and the club. In his initial season with the Hoops (2023 - 2024), he made a notable impact with eight goals in 15 appearances. His second year (2024 - 2025) saw him feature more heavily, appearing 35 times and celebrating 13 successes in front of the goal. Even in the early games of the 2025 - 2026 season, he could be found in the Celtic starting eleven.
Following his loan term, Idah returned briefly to Norwich City before being transferred permanently to Celtic for a handsome fee of around £8.5m in August 2024. His permanent stay at Celtic saw him accomplish similar strike rates to his loan period, which no doubt cemented his reputation in the hearts of the Celtic faithful.
However, in September 2025, Idah moved back across the border to lay his boots at Swansea City in the Championship, reportedly for an undisclosed fee. In his current season with the Swans (2025 - 2026), he has made 21 first team appearances, scoring four times.
Notably, Idah has played in the League Cup 2025 - 2026 for Swansea City, as well as in the World Cup Qualifiers Europe 2024 - 2026 for Republic of Ireland where he scored once across six substitute appearances.
