Abdallah Sima, born in Dakar on 17 June 2001 (age 24), made his name at Slavia Prague rather than through the usual academy conveyor belt. His most productive league season came in 2020–21, when he scored 11 goals in 21 appearances, a return that quickly made him interesting to clubs beyond the Czech league.
Brighton took him to England, but his career there became a series of loans rather than a settled place in the side. Spells away included time at Stoke City, Angers and Rangers, where he won the League Cup. That particular honour will not require much embroidery here.
Sima has built a career as a mobile forward capable of playing across the front line, with his best work so far still tied to that sharp Slavia Prague season. Since then, he has remained a useful professional rather than a fixed star, moving through stronger leagues and different roles while trying to turn early promise into something more stable.
