Abdallah Sima, born on 17 June 2001 (age 24), is a Senegalese forward whose breakthrough came at Slavia Prague. His 2020-2021 league season there remains the clearest marker of his early promise: 11 goals in 21 appearances, enough to move him beyond the category of interesting prospect.
Brighton then brought him to England, but his career did not settle there. Loans followed, including spells at Stoke City and Angers, before a year at Rangers gave him regular Scottish attention. He won a League Cup during that spell, a detail that will not require much embroidery on a Celtic site.
Sima’s career has been one of sharp early impact, a Premier League move, and then the more familiar business of loan spells and trying to turn potential into permanence. He remains an established professional rather than a finished article, with his best season still the one that first put his name properly into circulation.
