Australian-born midfielder, Aaron Mooy, was cast into the spotlight of the football world on September 15, 1990. During his time with the Terriers, he displayed significant contributions to the team's midfield effort over four seasons, with his jersey number called 111 times, resulting in 11 goals.
In August 2019, Mooy was loaned to Brighton & Hove Albion in the same League. Generating reliable results for the Seagulls, Mooy was eventually transferred for £5.4m in January of 2020, with that season seeing him wear the Alibion's jersey 31 times, scoring twice.
August of 2020 witnessed another migration for Mooy, this time to Shanghai Port in the Chinese Super League. Across two seasons, Mooy found the back of the net six times during his 23 appearances for the club.
In July of 2022, Mooy found his way back to Scotland, joining Celtic in what was a significant period for the player and the club. In the 2022-2023 season, the Aussie talent made 29 first team appearances for Celtic, demonstrating his aptitude for finding the goal, outmanoeuvring the goalkeeper on four occasions.
